The town
of Boquete, a Mecca for the growing number of expat families and foreign
retirees in Panama, has a new restaurant. It is called Sabor Escondido,
which, as its name suggests, is located in the community of Valle
Escondido, which pioneered the "boom" of real-estate development
for retirees in Panama five years ago.
Sabor
Escondido, which translates as "Hidden Flavor", opened on
December 11 and offers an extensive menu of Panamanian and international
dishes "to cater to the most demanding tastes", according
to Jessica Real, a marketing officer of Valle Escondido.
With capacity
for 75 persons, Sabor Escondido opens daily, from 7:30 a.m. to 11:00
p.m.
