Italian
pop singer Laura Pausini and Mexican rock/pop star Julieta Venegas
will join forces during a single concert on Wednesday, April 28, at
Las Islas Theater of Atlapa Convention Center
Laura
Pausini:
A complete "crossover" success, Laura Pausini was born on
May 16, 1974. She enrolled in formal music classes in 1991 and rose
to fame at the San Remo Music Festival in 1993. Soon after, she started
to record music in Spanish, and became an instant success in Spain
and Latin America.
Julieta
Venegas:
Born
in California in 1970 to Mexican parents, Julieta Venegas grew up
in Tijuana where she began studying classical music at age 8. Rising
to fame as a pop/rock singer at age 22, Venegas has won a number of
awards throughout her career including a Grammy (2003). She is currently
on a promotional tour of Central and South America.
