Mamooth-size yacht visits Panama

The good ship: "Laurel"

What is thought to be the largest yacht built in the U.S. in the last 75 years arrived at the Amador Marina, in the Bay of Panama early May. It is the "Laurel", a 236-foot high tech vessel featuring elegant interior trimmings (marble, highly polished stainless steel, and lots of gold leaf). Her steel hull was made in Anacortes, Washington State, and the rest of the ship was crafted by Delta Marine, also based in Washington. Her price tag is approximately US$100 million.
