The InterContinental
Playa Bonita Resort & Spa, a beach hotel only 20 minutes from
Panama City, threw a big opening party last week.
Situated on 20 acres
( eight hectareas) of rainforest the 300 room hotel fronts a 1.6km
golden sand beach, formerly an exclusive preserve of the US Military.
The hotel has been built
by Empresas Bern the third hotel of the group to be built in recent
years and franchised to InterContinental, the biggest hotel group
in the world for number of rooms.
