The first stage of the project Nikki Beach Resort & Residences Playa Blanca, located in Farallón, Coclé, started June 16.

The project will have 500 units which will be developed in three phases with an approximate investment of $80 millions. The first stage will have an opulent hotel with 140 rooms that will be operated by the brand Nikki Beach, renowned around the world for combining luxury services with gastronomy, fashion, and entertainment. The target is for an exclusive clientele mainly actors, models and celebrities.

Panama was selected especially for this franchise for the beauty of its beaches and its geographical position.

An essential part of the Nikki Beach Playa Blanca project is its beach club with 11,000 m2. It will have Polynesian style Spa, sushi bar, gymnasium, infinity pool and exotic murals designed in Nikki´s style.

The Condo Hotel Nikki Beach Playa Blanca will create more than 200 jobs. All the employees will be trained and prepared by the franchise, months before the opening in December 2008.

The development will have in its first stage 4 luxury towers, Nikki Beach Luxury Residences, that will offer ample units of two and three bedrooms, with luxurious finishings and sea views.

Rughieri Gálvez, who is heading the firm developing the project, RG Inmobiliaria, said this development is different to others in Panama, because the future owners will be able to rent their condos. The great difference is that they will be able to offer them to an operator, who will manage the property in their absence, as in The Bahamas and Bermuda. The administrator will be Nicky Beach.
