Banyan Leaf offers:

Pieces of exotic luxury

Banyan Leaf is located on Calle 49 and Calle 50.

Exotic and contemporary furniture, accesories, helpful staff, and an inviting ambiance can be found at Banyan Leaf located in Calle 49 and Galería 50. This shop imports its stock from far away countries like Thailand, Malaysia and India, to mention a few.

Mike Sedgwick, a consultant for Banyan Leaf, explained that the style of the furniture they sell is eclectic and it goes from contemporary to rustic Indian items, with a lot of emphasis on leather. The aim is to satisfy the needs of their clients.

Customer service is of paramount importance for Banyan Leaf and that is why the store employs a full time interior designer, who will be happy to work with clients as they make their selections. They also collaborate very closely with independent decorators, architects and of course customers, who are looking for a simple solution to their furnishing dilemmas.

The store offers contemporary
and rustic furniture.

The big difference between Banyan Leaf and other furniture shops is its competitive prices and a warehouse that carries a large inventory so that you do not wait for months to have your items delivered. "Of course", pointed out Sedgwick, "it is almost impossible to have everything at all times, but we carry a full range". The customers can also put a deposit on the pieces they want and store them in the warehouse at no extra charge.

Banyan Leaf also has free delivery not only in Panama City, but around the whole country. Their trucks can often be seen in Boquete, the interior and the beach areas. The service does not end there. They also repair and retouch furniture that customers have brought from abroad. Sedgwick said that this facility has not been well advertised, but clients know about it.

The prices of furniture and accesories range from $120 to $7000. The store has two entrances: one on Calle 49 and the other on Calle 50. It opens seven days a week. Monday to Saturday from 8:00a.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. For more information call: 265-2335.

Sol uses the lights to show feelings.

Serene faces, illuminated figures in real or imaginary spaces, material and super-imposed graphics are some of the elements you will find in the paintings of Sol Halabi, which will be on display until August 18 at Galería Allegro.
