The famous “típico” restaurant

Las Tinajas celebrates its silver anniversary

The fabulous “tipico” restaurant Las Tinajas, will celebrate its silver anniversary in October and to mark the occasion, it will present throughout the month the talented and popular singer, Leoni Herrera, plus two troupes of folklore dancers. In addition, every customer will be offered a complimentary cocktail during October and will be presented with a “tinajita”, a typical clay cup.

One of the owners of Las Tinajas, Marieta Jaén, said that as part of the celebrations, new dishes and wine will be introduced, but the traditional food that has made this restaurant famous will continue to be served.

Mrs Jaén attributes the success of her restaurant first of all to her employees, because they offer the customers fast and efficient service with a personal touch. Secondly, to the quality, freshnes and flavor of the food. And last, but equally important, the shows with two troupes of folklore dancers, who perform on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays at 9:00 p.m., which gives tourists and Panamanians the chance to see a show and at the same time enjoy a good dinner at a reasonable price.

Las Tinajas, located in Calle 51 Bella Vista No 22, is the restaurant where you can find authentic Panamanian food, at reasonable prices with excellent service. For reservations call: 263-7890.
