Rancho Futuro

Near the mountain, close to the beach

A new residential project, "Rancho Futuro" has been launched at Gorgona, the first of the beach communities along the Pacific coast and about an hour away from Panama City.. The developers are planning to build a gated community of 24 houses, only five minutes by car to Gorgona Beach and at 45 minutes from the cooler mountainous area of Sorá.

The houses, designed in a colonial style, will have 254.72 m2 of construction, three bedrooms with walk-in closets and ensuite bathrooms, living room, dining room, an ample kitchen, laundry room, terrace at the back, porch, utility area and two parking spaces. The lots measure between 1540 m2 and 1850 m2.

The bathrooms are tiled with Italian ceramic and the fitted kitchen has a breakfast bar. All the window frames and carport will be made using the wood of the teak trees cut during the construction of the project.

The development will have 12,900 m2 of green areas, a belvedere and a spectacular view of the mountains. The properties will be fenced and the back gardens will have mature teak trees. All the utilities cables will be subterranean to protect the environment.

The houses cost between $147,000 and $182,000 depending on the size of the lot and for $1000 you can separate a plot. The developers are offering mortgages of up 80 per cent of the value of the property. Foreigners will need to pay 30 per cent of the total amount as a deposit. The first stage of the project is planned to be finished in December 2008.
