Quintessentially's White Linen
Extravaganza

In late March, Quintessentially, the lifestyle management company, held a summer’s end event at one of Panama’s most beautiful and historic outdoor locations to officially launch their luxury lifestyle management services while treating their guests to fine liquors and dazzling them with luxury. Quintessentially teamed up with Trump Ocean Club and reserved Paseo las Bovedas in Panama City’s old quarter, Casco Antiguo for the ‘White Linen Extravaganza’.

The event was hosted by Quintessentially’s Aaron Simpson and Paul Drummond, together with Rene Estripeaut from Quintessentially Panama as well as Roger Khafif from the Trump Ocean Club and Reynaldo Boemer Jr. from Jaguar Latin America.

The event was one of the highlights of the Panama summer social season bringing together an eclectic mix of well-known faces from the worlds of fashion, art and society.

Guests were received by beautiful women dressed as nymphs and walked on rose petals past a live jazz quartet upon entering the grounds. Some of the delights that awaited guests were art by painter Gabriel Gonzalez, foot and hand massages from Altavita Spa, a preview of Donald Trump's building in Panama, and delicious canapés from celebrity chef Jorge Rausch.

Then guests were surprised by the first Latin American presentation of Jaguar's new XF model, which revved in adorned with three breathtaking swimsuit models. A fashion show followed, featuring swimwear by Brazilian designer Mirla Sabino. A total of 15 top models delighted the crowd, thanks to the Colombian agency Informa Models.

InForma Models of Colombia provided top bikini models for a Mirla
Sabino swimwear presentation.

The party moved on to a nearby 17th century dungeon with a live DJ, body-painted models, and a full bar featuring Patron, Habana Club, Chivas, Stolichnaya, and Evian's new Christian Lacroix designed bottles.

New networking lunch club

The lunch is an open forum for all attendees to speak.

Steve Sandland of the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino that is coming to Panama soon has started a networking lunch club in Panama City. “I wanted to create a platform for entrepreneurs, real estate developers and privateers to tout their wants, needs and haves,” says Sandland.

Each person who attends has the opportunity to speak about what they do, pose questions and engage in discussion with the group about almost any subject. The group is diverse and encourages sharing information, advice and suggestions. Bring plenty of business cards!

The next meeting is on Tuesday, April 15 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Beirut Restaurant, across the street from the Marriott Casino in El Cangrejo. $15 per person. Call Steve Sandland at 6561-8705 or write steveslunchclub@gmail.com.
