New products and pavillions at international trade expo |

Expocomer is a regional trade fair held every year at the Atlapa Convention Center in Panama City since 1983. This year’s event promises to be the biggest ever with over 2,500 business from around the world promoting their goods and services at the three day event from March 5 – 8. All available display spaces have sold out. Three new pavilions were added for France, Russia and Singapore this year. New products will be on display. For the ?rst time at Expocomer, international traders will wheel and deal over yachts and heavy equipment. Last year some 16,000 buyers attended the event. Registered buyers will be allowed to enter the fair from Wednesday March 5 to Friday March 7. The inauguration is on March 5 at 10:00 a.m. and the show opens at noon every day and closes at 7:30 p.m. Registering on line is easy and free through February 27. Visit www.expocomer.com and follow the instructions (in Spanish) to register (regístrese) as a new buyer in the system (nuevo usuario, comprador). After February 27, browsers will have to pay $10 per day or $25 for the whole four days upon entering. On the last day, Saturday, March 8, the fair will be open for the public to enjoy a look around.
