Panama offers extraordinarily good diving on spectacular reefs on both oceans, as well as adventure diving among the big fish in the Pacific.

Apart from the pristine reefs, Panama offers thrilling diving on the Pacific coasts, and the Gulf of Chiriquí. The quiet fishing village of Pedasí on the Azuero Peninsula is the best point of departure for some of the world’s most sensational dive sites around the island of Coiba and Coiba National Park, a World Heritage site and an especially rich marine habitat. Pedasi Sports Club 995-2894, in Pedasi, is a Padi Hotel Resort which offers diver training courses, refresher courses and Discover Scuba Diving courses (3 hours instruction in the pool followed by a 30ft dive.

Divers can experience swimming with Manta and Eagle Rays, Whale Sharks, Barracudas and shoals of Jack, Surgeon, Butterfly and Angel Fish.
