LAS BOVEDAS. This
very special restaurant and bar in San Felipe, the Old Quarter
(Casco Viejo) offers live music Friday and Saturday from 9:00p.m.

FOLKLORE SHOWS
Las Tinajas. This popular restaurant in Bella Vista presents exuberant professional Panamanian shows Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday.
Pizza Piola. This restaurant in Bella Vista presents lively Argentinian folklore shows every Friday ....and tango dancing (with classes) on Thursdays.
NIGHTCLUBS, REVUES
Elite. Located on Calle 50, Elite offers continuous shows seven nights a week and “Open Bar” every day ($30 per person) in the company of beautiful girls.
Le Palace. Monday to Saturday, continuous shows each night from 10-30 p.m. Striptease, Parisian-style, lovely girls, elegant decor. Located opposite the Executive Hotel.
CASINOS
Veneto hotel, a block from Via Espana in the heart of town has a very large and lively casino with 42 gaming tables, 512 slot machines, 12 progessive slots, a large poker room, a Baccarat salon and a betting agency.
Majestic Casino at Multicentro Mall on Avenida Balboa has international shows such as Bolero dancers from Cuba, "Vallenatos" from Colombia and comedy shows from Mexico.

PUBS, BARS

Rockin’ Gorilla. On Via Argentina, look for a six foot guitar-playing gorilla on the roof. Open 24/7. Live music, billiards, karaoke.

JAZZ AND MUSIC
Casco Viejo, the old city, is well-endowed with bars featuring jazz and many other genres of music. Check out restaurants Cedros amd Indigo close to the National Theater and Scena opposite the old Union Club.

A good way to start an evening’s entertainment could be at the President Remon racetrack on Thursday when the card extends after dark for night-time racing
